What are the higher Risks of working with nano-engineered-materials? What are the benefits? Are you afraid of working with nanomaterials? Or are you more interested in their properties and applications?

The principal problem about the nanomaterials is the ignorance of the effects of nanopollution, otherwise nanotechnology provides many benefits such as the ability to repel certain substance or even the ability to alter the properties of an object; I think that nanothecnology is a viable option provided that more research on the causes and treatment of nanopollution
The nano materials have a lot of odds and potential but have the problem than produce more pollution than teh fine particles a need a lot of precautions at the moment of work whit this materials
I'd say the higher risk of working with nanomaterials is in the intake of such materials, depending on the properties, it can be fatal. The coating for example, it's a wonderful application, but I've seen the video before and the coating doesn't last much time, sometimes not even a day.
I myself am not scared of working with nanomaterials, it seems like a great area waiting to be exploited. Sometime in the future I would expect a great increase in it's applications.
Nanotechnology is such a big word and im not joking. This kind of technology is out of our control altough it has lots of good properties, potential and even solution for make easier procedures, nanotechnology is someting that humans dont dominate and that's why uses from this NT is limited. There is a lot of risks and pollution when making this procedures and risks that we even dont know. If you are saying that thay can reach my lungs you are saying that a bad use of them could kill lots of people and they wont notice it. This is really worrying!!! There needs more than a little couple of studies to be a real option to improve actual world engineering.
This new "technology" seems very promising because the nanotechnology can be used in practically all the areas of the science. However as all the technologies, the nanotechnology have their consequences in human life as well as in nature. So I think that we should take all necessary precautions because we don´t know yet what is all the impact of the nanotechnology in the human body and the enviroment.
I think that nano-materials has a lot of uses and open to the world new posibilities, in the other hand their properties and effects are unknown (the most). And we need to test it more before use them in our daily life, (like in the video), specially in constant contact in our skin.
Working with nanomaterials can be dangerous to your health depending on the material, I think that nanotechnology should be studied more because it can have a large number of applications, just to work with it should be taken more precaution.
